Saturday 27 and Sunday, June 28, 2015 the parish recreation center "of the Young Village" of Castiglion Fiorentino (AR) is organizing the second edition of "ROCK VILLAGE".
Rock Festival (free admission) that will host 10 bands, with an audience of highly respected, as "STRANGERS SIMPLE" and "PICTURE OF TROY J" from Città di Castello (PG), "MAYA GALACTIC" from Treviso (TV), "VIRGO "Vicenza (VI).

The festival will open its doors as early as the afternoon of Saturday, but the heart of the event will begin to pulse 19 with the live performance of the band 5 in the evening, with the collaboration of the radio station "RADIO ITALY 5".
A food service, a flea market and entertainment for young and old will outline the two evenings.
The festival is sponsored by the Municipality of Castiglion Fiorentino (AR) and the local association ProLoco. The event aims to "rejuvenate" this center, in operation since the '60s, collecting funds for its maintenance and its improvements, creating a space for young people, giving them an opportunity for different leisure, offering a stage young musicians and trying to create a musical event in our area. For this reason, all the bands will take part for free and all funds collected will be (after expenses) entirely allocated to the center itself.
The idea of this festival was founded in 2013 by two young friends and musicians for passion, Riccardo and Nicola Salvietti Bardelli, who attended with their families the center and taking care of its maintenance as volunteers, have realized the enormous potential this structure. Having had the support of the club ANSPI, which manages the center, and the Parish of Rivaio of Castiglione Fiorentino, who owns it, created the "ROCK VILLAGE", in order to compensate for the lack of spaces for young musicians and thanks to the enthusiasm seen in the first year, there was the possibility of organizing a second edition, hoping it can become a fixed appointment for our country.
